Prime Stays USA did not begin in Florida. It began in the United Kingdom nine years ago, with a single rental property, a single set of keys, and a founder who refused to outsource guest communication because the local agencies were losing reviews faster than they could write them. That property became two, then five, then fifteen, and by the time we crossed fifty-five UK units, we had a problem worth solving for other owners: a documented operating manual, a tested support rota, and a maintenance contractor list that survived weekends and Christmas Day.

The decision to expand into the United States was not a leap. Our owner base had quietly begun acquiring properties in Florida, and they asked us, almost as a favour at first, whether we would run their American assets the way we had run their UK ones. The answer required a year of preparation: a Florida-based operations lead, vetted cleaning and maintenance partners across Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, channel manager reconfiguration through Hostaway for US tax and licensing logic, and a guest support roster that genuinely covered every time zone our calendar would reach.

What we will not do is pretend that the United States and the United Kingdom are the same market. Florida has its own licensing regime, its own seasonal rhythms, its own guest expectations around air-conditioning, beach access, and pool maintenance.
